Job description

About Filestage

Filestage frees people from chaotic approval processes, making work more joyful and productive. From large enterprises to independent agencies, our review and approval platform helps teams share, discuss, and approve all their files, all in one place – including documents, designs, images, videos, and audio files.

We're a fully remote team with people working in home offices, co-working spaces, and coffee shops all over the world. Together, we're on a mission to create a seamless approval process that helps people deliver their best work.

We've raised our Series A and have over half a million users across 500+ companies, including AB InBev, LG, Havas, GroupM, and Emirates. So if you're looking for a fast-growing startup in a booming market, you've found it!

This job is fully remote and we are open to candidates across Europe!

What you’ll be working on as our  SaaS Marketing Specialist

We're looking for a SaaS Marketing Specialist to help execute our conversion optimization and direct-response growth strategy. You'll be our reliable execution partner, working closely with our Head of Marketing to drive demo bookings and test new acquisition channels.

In your first year at Filestage, you will:

  • Own conversion optimization for our demo booking and Trial funnel. You'll design and run A/B tests on landing pages, CTAs, forms, and hero sections to improve our demo booking conversion rate from 6% to 8%+. You'll work with our design team, track results daily, and iterate based on data.

  • Execute direct-response paid campaigns. You'll set up and manage campaigns on Google Ads, LinkedIN and Facebook and help build up further acquisition channels from our marketing roadmap. You'll handle audience targeting, creative testing, budget allocation and optimization—reporting clear ROI on every dollar spent.

  • Build and maintain attribution tracking. You'll ensure all traffic sources are properly tracked and attributed. You'll manage pixels, UTMs, CRM integration, and maintain our conversion tracking infrastructure so we know exactly where our best leads come from.

  • Provide insights and reporting. You'll monitor our full trial funnel (visitor → trial → MQL → SQL) and translate dashboard insights into clear action plans. You'll report on campaign performance, A/B test results, and next priorities to leadership..

  • Coordinate with specialists across the team. You'll work closely with our ABM, SEO and PLG Team as well as with Product, Sales, Customer Success and RevOps to ensure consistent tracking, complementary messaging, and aligned goals. You're part of a specialized team, not doing everything alone.

Life at Filestage

We believe people are more productive when they can choose their own schedule. So we’re proud to offer fully-remote roles that give you the perfect balance between work and life.

Here are some of the benefits you can look forward to at Filestage:

  • Work from where you’re happiest and enjoy a flexible schedule. We’ve been fully remote from the start, giving you the opportunity to meet people all over the world and broaden your horizons.

    • For this role, we’re looking for someone based in Europe to make sure there’s a high time overlap with our team members, customers, and partners.

  • Meet up in real life. We all travel together at least once a year (in normal times) at our team retreat to have fun and get to know each other.

  • Enjoy a strong team culture. We’re a group of knowledge seekers, reflective thinkers, clear communicators, goal owners, problem solvers, and team players. These are the values we strive for to help us achieve our mission.

  • Join a happy team. We’ve been rated five stars on Glassdoor by our lovely team. You can take a look at our reviews here.

  • Create a workspace that suits you. You’ll get a €1,500 budget for hardware, as well €500 for home office to buy whatever you need to do your best work – including a computer, webcam, or standing desk.

  • Get 38 days of holiday. Plenty of time for city breaks, summer escapes, and everything in between. You’ll also get a half day on your birthday to give you a chance to celebrate!

  • Volunteer/Charity Day.  Enjoy a Volunteer/Charity Day to support a cause close to your heart.

  • Continue to grow and develop your career. We care about your development and want you to be able to learn new things! After six months in the company, you’ll get a budget to be able to use for personal development.

  • Make your voice heard. We trust our team members to make the best decisions to achieve their goals, so you won’t have to put up with micromanagers here.

  • Say goodbye to pointless meetings. We practice what we preach when it comes to productivity, so you can expect flat hierarchies, fast iterations, and no bullshit meetings.

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the role

You have 2+ years of experience working in B2B SaaS or B2B tech marketing. Now you're looking for a new and exciting challenge that has a huge (and positive) impact on the way people work.

Here are some of the things we'd like to see from you:

  • You have 2-3 years of experience working in B2B SaaS or digital marketing. You've executed campaigns hands-on and you're ready for your next challenge that has real impact.

  • You have hands-on paid advertising expertise. You know how to set up and optimize Google Ads and Facebook campaigns. You understand CAC, ROAS, audience targeting, and budget allocation. You've run campaigns from start to finish.

  • You're deeply data-driven. You're experienced with Google Analytics, conversion tracking, and performance reporting. You use data to make decisions, and you're comfortable setting up pixels, UTMs, and CRM integration.

  • You have a strong experimentation mindset. You've designed and run A/B tests before. You understand statistical significance and you get excited about optimization. You're always looking for the next 0.5% improvement.

  • You're fluent in English (C1-level minimum). You can communicate clearly with all stakeholders across our company.

  • You're comfortable with marketing technology. You can navigate HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other martech tools with ease. You're not intimidated by new platforms.

  • You're coachable and eager to learn. You take direction well, ask clarifying questions, and implement feedback. You're not looking to do things your way - you're looking to learn how to do things the right way. You ask for help when you need it, and you're humble about what you don't know.

  • You work well independently with clear direction. You thrive when ambitious goals are clearly set. You can take a goal, create a plan, and execute it without hand-holding. But you also know when to ask for guidance.

  • You're a strong communicator. You report clearly on results, you explain what you learned, and you collaborate well with a distributed team.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Product-Led Growth concepts

  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing

  • German speaking
